Training Mode is a mode found within Fantendo Smash Bros. Victory, which acts as both a tutorial mode and a mode where the player can experiment with the CPU and other factors into a match. This mode introduces the Training Dummies and Hybrid IV, who also show up in some of the other modes.

Training Dummies[]

Training Dummies are a new addition to the Fantendo Smash Bros. series and basically act as sparring partners for Training Mode if selected. There are four types of Training Dummies, each with its own body shape, color of boxing gloves, and cloned moveset.

From left to right:

  • Male Training Dummy: Uses weakened Standard Attacks of Strafe. Has only two jumps.
  • Beorn Training Dummy: Uses weakened Standard Attacks of Unten. Has only two jumps.
  • Sparkling Training Dummy: Uses weakened Standard Attacks of Volt. Has only three jumps.
  • Female Training Dummy: Uses weakened Standard Attacks of Rachel. Has only two jumps.

They also appear within the Training Mode's Mission Training, appearing as the opponent for most of the missions as opposed to a regular character.

Free Training[]

In Free Training mode, the player can select any character except the Training Dummies to play as and set the opponent as any character (including Training Dummies). In this mode, they can modify the speed, the knockback, the damage modifier, handicap, and the AI's Behavior. They can also summon any item in the game, although there is a individual cap for each item to prevent lag.

Free Training can be exited through the pause menu at any time. The player can also switch characters in the pause menu if they like.

Mission Training[]

This acts as the tutorial for the game, and goes over every aspect of the game.
