This article is about Shiki's appearance in Fantendo Smash Bros. Victory. For the character in other contexts, see Shiki Shidare.

Shiki was confirmed to be a playable character in Fantendo Smash Bros. Victory on 8/29/16. She is a brand new character introduced as a contrast to Sam, albeit with a completely different moveset. She plays a major role in the plot, although not quite as substantial as some other characters.

Shiki is the Enemy's new servant after what happened with The Apprentice. She seems to have some disdain for her master, though remains loyal to him if not a little a snarky about it. She remembers EVERYTHING unlike Sam, and is quick to use her knowledge to use when possible. As such, the Enemy does not like to fill her in on details and is actually somewhat afraid of her. She is rather mysterious, her eyes behind her hair and in the shadows, never seen. It's actually speculated she doesn't actually have eyes, but one cannot be too sure about anything with Shiki...

Standard Attacks

Name Info

Shiki's legs become covered in a dark energy and she briefly becomes suspended in the air before slamming into the ground with both feet. She looks kind of like an inanimate object moving when doing this. This attack does 6% damage.

Tongue Slash

Lunges at the opponent, her tongue becoming a whip as she shakes her head wildly. This attack can do anywhere in the neighborhood of 1% - 5% damage.

Shiki laughs hysterically as giant needles come out from the ground, homing on the closest opponent for 3% damage each. The attack leaves her open while laughing.

Shiki pulls out a steel bowl and a mixing spoon, stirring as little dough monsters fly out, biting opponents that they land on before dying themselves. Not a killing move, but certainly one that can rake up a lot of damage due to multiple projectiles having various arcs. Each dough monster bite does 4% damage.

Special Moves

Name Info

Shiki pulls out a giant needle attached to a giant string and spins it, striking it forward for 7% damage to any opponent she hits. It becomes a killing move at 90%.

Killing Jar

Shiki pulls out a jar filled with a black substance and throws, it, creating a black bubble that floats around. The bubble pops either through contact or after 5 seconds and can do 10% damage. Although the black bubble is pretty damaging, it's also easy to see and avoid. It is a killing move at 110%.

Shiki warps upwards, leaving behind a pod that sprouts out spiked legs that runs to the left or right. The pod does 3% damage on contact and runs to the bottom of the stage if possible. Shiki cannot do this move again until the pod is gone.

Ghost Spectre

Shiki's ghost exits her body, circling around her to absorb attacks that actually heal her a little. She can't do this too often or she'll just look exhausted while trying execute it and leave herself open.

Name Info

Fabric of the Universe

Shiki throws a needle right through her opponents if they happen to be within the line of the needle, causing them to unspool into nothing. She then absorbs the "thread" and heals herself a bit. This can be done with multiple opponents, and Shiki heals 10% from each opponent killed with the needle attack.

  • Up Taunt - Laughs hysterically, her neck spinning around like an owl's.
  • Side Taunt - Greenish black fumes come out out of her sleeves as she spins around.
  • Down Taunt - Grabs a small dough monster and eats it.

Victory Poses

  • Zaps her fingers with a car battery, looking rather happy about it too.
  • Crosses her arms and legs, needles in between the gaps of her fingers. The camera pans to show that she is actually upside down in the air, floating with the Malefactor energy.
  • Yawns as she looks towards the sky.

  • Shiki was created as a contrast to Sam, who admires and respects the people he works with and serves the Fan, while Shiki doesn't care about anybody and serves the Enemy.
  • Shiki seems to be anything but a human, judging by some of her animations, being able to contort her spine to the point where she can put her face through her legs and rotate her neck like a owl.
  • The Enemy seems genuinely unnerved by her with hints that he didn't create her.
