Dawn of a New Day: Fall and Burn.[]
Fall and Burn |
---|
Life can suck. It's a fact that sometimes nothing will go your way. But what really matter is how we deal with it. Be mean or get stepped on.
Josh Dracord has powers. He can absorb the skills of others. He's Mega Man if Mega Man was confused, stuck in a grey morality area. Josh doesn't believe in good and evil. If someone wants another to die and has money, Josh is there with a rifle. This is Fall and Burn. It's a third person shooter with RPG elements and a similarity to Fallout. You must explore an open-world destroyed by a nuclear explosion. People need help and you decide to kill, help, or simply walk. There is no morality system to lower your level of fun. Only choices that turn the world against you or make you a saint. Each of these have benefits acssessible from the menu and shops. Leveling up is here in a new form. Every job counts and so does every kill. These will earn you expirience in different ways. If you want to be a powerhouse, do some kills. Maybe you want to be hard to kill with a long life bar, do some jobs. Find a mix that works for you. Combat is anything but just gunslinging. Melee is very important and it takes a form similar to the famous Arkham games. Remember the power our friend has? Select enemies gifted with powers can be brought to near death and a soul sucking finisher to beat them and give you a new power. Bosses and quest chains are all selectable and every playthrough and path you take makes a difference. Wario Inc. is not famous for art or awards. It's a humble pastime, and Fall and Burn is just that. |

The Legend of Zelda: Legend of Four |
---|
A (not) well known game named The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords and Four Swords Adventure was released for the GBA and GC. The concept was of a four player dungeon crawler with TLOZ characters and settings. However, it didn't rise to too much popularity. This spiritual successor seeks to revitalize the concept.
