This was closely followed by a second, Leila Metals was the scorer. It was when Lions keeper Martin Breeze was sent-off for handling out side his area did the game change. Vulcan scored from the resulting free-kick. Aten scored late on. The Steel fans travelled back to London happy.

Snipe was at fault for the Gearworks goal. A poor clearance reached Malcolm Leychester who slotted the ball past the 'keeper. Titan levelled the game up. The game was heading towards a draw - when Scar was at the right place at the right time to beat Behemoth Drone to win the game for the hosts.

Flame-Scotland came out on top at the Flame against a weak Mushroom Kingdom side. Two Flame-Scotland players made their début in this match - Frenchman Gautier Lyon and German Carl Koenigsmann. Koenigsmann was the creator of the first goal - he twisted and turn through the Mushroom Kingdom defence. He passed to Ceallachán Mackay who finished the move. Lyon created the second Flame-Scotland goal - he overlapped Clyde and crossed in for "Richy" to score for the hosts. Donkey Kong gave Mushroom Kingdom hope with a late effort that when into Vlasi Konstantinov's net, but this was the only real chance the visitors had.
