Hello and welcome to the Gear Games' presentation of the F3. We will bring a daily reveal of each new game we intend to make, with ideas already in development. Sit tight and watch the all-new games!

Day 1: Crazy Mario Party[]

Mario Party, Crazier than Ever!

Following the return-to-classic Super Mario Party, the new game Crazy Mario Party ramp up the crazy aspect with some new modes and several newcomers as well as returning characters that were missing!

For the characters, everyone who will appear as playable in Super Mario Party will return to this game, as well as various newcomers and characters that missed the chance to be in Super Mario Party. I will not reveal them all to avoid spoiling everything at once.

  • Characters that didn't get into Super Mario Party as a player character and were playable beforehand such as Birdo, Spike and Kamek will appear in this game.
  • Several of the newcomers are Noki, Tostarenan, Cappy and Boom Boom. That's not all of them of course.
  • And as a surprise, a few fan Mario characters will also be in this game, such as Pearl, Cosmetta and Lotus!
  • Four waves of two characters will also be added via free updates. I will not tell who they could be to keep the surprise!

In addition of the returning Traditional Party, Partner Party and Mariothon, several new modes will give out new goals in mind.

  • Wario Party plays like Traditional Party, but with the addition of a fifth player that tries to steal as many Stars and Coins as possible by bumping into the other players. The other four players can take them back (or steal from that thief) by bumping into the Thief Player and inflict either a one-on-one Minigame, or if there are three players in five spaces range, a 1-v-3 Minigame.
  • Crazy Party plays differently; instead of collecting the most Stars, the player have to make the most scores by winning minigames, collecting Coins and Stars, while avoiding Guramina's attacks aimed at random spaces, lest they will lose points. This mode can be played in lined or free-movement version of the boards.
  • Dream of a Champion is the adventure mode of the game, which one player select their character and compete thorough with the three CPUs to collect the most Stars in all of the eight Boards. The Dream Clones also appears as rivals the player (and the CPU) will take on to receive more Coins... or lose them if they loses!

Over 100 new Minigames will be available in this game, as well as 25 returning minigames from the portable Mario Party games, which are five from each of them; Mario Party Advance, Mario Party e-Card, Mario Party DS, Mario Party Island Tour and Mario Party Star Rush, with several Minigames modified.

  • Just like in Super Mario Party, allies are compatible in certain minigames.
  • This time, each minigame have a Crazy Mode which makes the Minigame more difficult, perfect for expert players. However, all minigames are a bit simpler and easier to compensate.
  • Boss Battles will also appears, which some known foes like Reznor, to less frequent nemesis like Tatanga... to even baddies from Mario side-series like Krusha and Ba-Boom the Boisterous from the DKC series!
  • There are also bigger minigames serving as the last-turn Minigames called the Superstar Minigames, consisting of two major parts, and the reward is always a Star, to allow potential comebacks.
  • Purely luck minigames will be kept for the Lucky Spaces, which always result a good thing like more Coins and one or two more items.

Overall, this Mario Party game will be crazier than the others without going over-the-top. This game will be released sooner than the other four games that will be revealed in the next days.

Day 2: Tempo: Dual Groove[]

Double troubles will be solved with terrific teamwork!

After Tempo's successful return in Tempo's Funky Pack, the groovy green grasshopper had become well-known among the Fantendo community. The sequel will be a bit different in that the game will be slightly more linear in term of level progression, but to compensate, there will be more gameplay variety.

The basic story is that a new villainess, Vinsanne the vicious webspinner, who kicked King Dirge Sound out of his throne and managed to use her charm to win trust of Dirge's Mussis, and plan to brainwash the world to only worship her while attacking each others with a special machine. Upon hearing news about King Dirge getting dethroned, Tempo and Katy hop on another adventure and put a stop to this madness.

  • Unlike in Tempo's Funky Pack, there will be three teams of two returning playable characters instead of characters being played individually, with all of the characters from that game returning as well. The following team of returning characters are; Tempo + Katy, Goliath + Light and Pendula + Mothley.
  • There are also four new playable characters, making two teams of two new characters each; Grab + Eyesight, and Mediet + ... King Dirge!?
    • Grab is the friendly rival of Goliath, a stronger but slower stag beetle who grabs things and foes with his almighty mandibles. His Icy Yo-Yo and Dumbbell Bombs have limited range but are good crowd control weapons, and have the Super Transformation of Mecha Grab, a mecha-like hero who have even better strength and have rocket punches.
    • Eyesight is the constantly upbeat but scatterbrained old friend of Katy, being the fastest flier and have reasonable attack power, but have poor swimming mobility. Her Disco Discs causes enemies to dance, and her Aqua Bag can turn off most type of flames and make flying enemies to lose their flight for a while. Her Super Transformation is Ballerina Eyesight, with excellent mobility and able to spin so fast that corks can be uncorked this way!
    • Mediet is a calm and wise old Mussi woman who is a fan of relaxing music, but also a mentor of King Dirge Sound himself. She is fairly slow by herself, but her attacking speed is phenomenal, and have the best jump among the characters. Her Bamboo Sticks and Dental Bombs are quite difficult to use but allows extra movement when used well, and her Super Transformation is a typical Super-Grandma costume but with super fast knitting ability that makes long and solid bridges that King Dirge himself would be unable to travel without.
    • King Dirge Sound went from a final boss of Tempo (32X) and Tempo Jr., absent in Super Tempo but then came back and stronger than ever as the final boss once again in Tempo's Funky Pack. Now he is fully fledged playable and team up with his mentor Mediet, and he's more resilient and faster than the rest of the characters, and rivals Goliath in strength only losing to Grab, to make up for his large size, fast falling speed and only having a double jump instead of a hover or flight. All of his attacks are from Tempo (32X) and Tempo's Funky Pack, with his Super Transformation is his Truck Mode Dirge that first appeared in the prior game.

The core gameplay remains the same; reach the goal, beat the boss and if you want the best ending, score as many points as high as possible. That is to say, there are only 10 Performances, which is half than Funky Pack's amount of Performances and not accessible with all teams, but have different bosses and structure for each team and have two acts to make up for that.

  • The Tag-Team mechanic will play an important role, allowing for Team Tricks to perform cool moves of pure teamwork and powerful moves that annihilate anyone standing in your way. They are largely inspired by the DKC2 and DKC3's Team-Up mechanic.
  • Each character have a specific story and a different line of performances and bosses (including final bosses), with the true final boss only available to be fought once you completed all of the five teams.
    • To prevent staleness like Sonic Heroes' situation, the order of Performances will be different, each team will go thorough five performances with two acts each, and a few Performances will not be available for every team outside of Free Play Mode.
  • There are also a few more variety with some new minigame-styled gameplay in a few sections of Performances without them getting in the way of the main gameplay too often.

Almost everything else from Tempo's Funky Pack will returns in here as well, with returning and new NPCs appearing in this game, with Major Minor now hosting the Mission Headquarter that allows unique challenges for each of the five teams to get Doremis and extra Points. All Changers returns as well, with a few new ones like the Timer that slows down all enemies for a limited time.

Each team have a different story as already told, with Tempo and Katy taking care of the main antagonist. There are at least one other, more minor antagonist that do have something to do with Vinsanne in one way or another.

Now that's some funky new ideas that will bring a different gameplay experience while still being faithful to Tempo's Funky Pack's core gameplay! Keep in your hype train, because the ride is yet to be finished!

Day 3: Meta-Form and the Amazing Isles[]

Meta-Form is back, in better shape than ever!

After departure from the 2D adventure in Meta-Form 2 and Common Force, Meta-Form and the Amazing Isles returns to 2D action platforming adventure, with a Metroidvania-styled world map that allows Meta-Form and Cubey to complete any of the first six Isles in any order, with the Progressive Difficulty raising at each Isle cleared.

During an island raid, Meta-Form and Cubey noticed a hexagonal island surrounded with six smaller isles with various attractions, with a sign said "Want to prove yourself as the best among the best robots? Big fat cash reward awaits for the one who passed thorough the six Amazing Isles and beat the Game Master!"

Meta-Form is aware of potential traps as it felt cliché, but then Cubey reminds him that the RCNC were under economical pressure at the moment and that it will not hurt to try. Meta-Form eventually shrugged and give it a chance alongside his long-time friend.

Turns out that Meta-Form was right about the traps; Captain KiloBot is sitting on his throne inside the castle-modeled airship, floating in the center of the hexagonal island. He let out a rough chuckle as he knew that Meta-Form will eventually try to put a dent on his plan or plainly participate... why is he glad to see him this time? That does not sound like a good sign...

  • Only Meta-Form and Cubey are playable in the single player mode. However, to make up for that, Meta-Form keep his old forms from Meta-Form 1 as well as several new forms based on other characters of the Meta-Form series!
  • There is also a Multiplayer story that take place after the single player mode, with the four Team-Workers working together to free Meta-Form and stop KiloBot from analyzing him.
    • The four Team-Workers are Rosen the overconfident, Indigan the flippant, Limeo the wise and Citrinel the sour. Despite their different personality, they are able to perform Team Forms to become into what Meta-Form is unable to be.
  • Some boss battles take outside of the Six Isles, and a few of them will require Meta-Form to go into his Hyper Mode. Yup, for the first time, he enters into his Hyper Mode, for special boss battles kind of grand clashing.
  • Returning bosses, including a few brainwashed Guardian Sevens, will serves as mid-bosses, while the new bosses will serves as the Isle Champion. The first will be Steamstack, a fiery steam robot who hate his job but only go for money, as well as a sucker to fighting.

Six Isles to explore before taking on the central hexagonal island. The first two are shown.

  • Circus Park is a park-themed attraction full of circus-themed fun. Recommended for beginners to start with it does to its simple structure and simple enemies, but if visited as the last isle, then stronger enemies starts to come. Balloons, trampolines, roller coasters and clown cars, both helpful and hurtful depended on how you use them!
  • Foulface Forest is a foul forest full of traps and grim robots, ready to attack Meta-Form and Cubey. However, some oversights had caused lights to be too strong for those grim robots, allowing Meta-Form to take advantage of it. That said, an old ally had make a return... but doesn't seems to act like himself as usual.

With all of the big surprises KiloBot have in store for him, Meta-Form and Cubey are more ready than ever (or not...) to take on all of the old and new foes awaiting to take them on. As we know, they will prevail... or at least we thought so.

Day 4: Paper Mario: In-Style[]

The drawing of disaster is over... but now Paper Mario have to go into a more stylish adventure!

Although Paper Mario: In-Style will retain a few features from Paper Mario Drawing of Disaster such as three-Partners system, recyclable attacking items (although toned down into normal items) and a compromise that uses both pre-existing and original characters at once, this game will go into a grind-based strategy game that put further emphasis on strategy than Paper Mario games had even done before.

  • The story involves Mario taking on the anthropomorphic stegosaurus called Miss Leddie, and her subordinates called the Dress Masters, as well as a few baddies not affiliated with Miss Leddie. This mean-spirited lady intend to make monopoly of clothing and hats, which seems petty at first, but then she intend to use them to wake up the Deity of Clothing and have them in her commend.
  • There will be twelve partners Mario will recruit throughout his journey, as well as gathering his brother Luigi, his close friend Peach and his arch-nemesis Bowser (the latter being reluctant). Two "leaders" can go together at once, and four partners can go into a battle this time.
    • Luigi have more movement speed and better Jump power, but a bit lower Defense and Hammer power.
    • Peach will have lower speed and less stronger than the rest, but have healing supports.
    • Bowser have the highest Power among the Leaders and have a medium-ranged Fire Breath, but is second slowest and he can be flipped and lose all of his Defense during the Enemies' Turn.
  • However, as mentioned, the emphasis on strategy means that the enemies will cooperate more than usual, supporting each other and even performing their own Team Attacks of a sort called "Enemy Coup-Op". As a result the player should plan carefully.
  • New to the game is the Clothing; while they were free customization in Super Mario Odyssey, this time obtaining them grant access the player for up to two additional attacks while still freely selecting the clothing of your choice! This allows replayability as there are multiple clothings available for each Leader and Partner.

As mentioned, there are twelve partners for Mario to become get help with. This time, all partners will be recruited in the 4th chapter, with the first one being available in the Prologue and then a pair of two or three can be recruited as the player progresses.

  • Kameledge is a knowledgeable Magikoopa who serves as the game's Tattler. A bit reluctant to work with Mario does to the Magikoopas' animosity with the former, he nevertheless wants to prove himself as someone who can trusted on, not someone who works for Bowser. He also uses magic to attack the enemies and provide some support, as you could expect from a Magikoopa. He will also serve as the "fairy companion" and not just to his Tattling ability.
  • Bandel is a Bandireno who, instead of serving for the Shake King or another bad guy, is a sole rebel who had enough with the corrupted city he lives in. It is not until he gets into a severe danger and get rescued that he realized how lonely and miserable he is. He helps out Mario by letting rolling him like a circus ball to gain speed, and attacks with a few of his gadgets.
  • Guishi is a rad blue guitarist Yoshi who loves performing rock and roll, but admitted to have a foul singing voice. He helps Mario by playing his guitar which can break fragile walls and icy walls, as well as using traditional Yoshi moves, in addition to use his guitar to pushes enemies away.

There are more partners to be revealed, but I will not reveal them all, and I will tell that one of them is from a new species going to be introduced in this game, as well as another from Paper Mario Drawing of Disaster.

Hey, hold on, what is Wario doing here!? Oh yeah, he's having his own mode called Paper Wario: Out-Smashing, with him having his own four partners and see his perspective, searching for treasure while chasing after a certain Magician Silveria, a charismatic but spotlight-hogging magician Bloo.

  • To make up for being the only Leader, Wario have the second highest Power next to Bowser, and also have the highest Health, with the only downside is his lack of ranged attacks do deal with spiky aerial enemies. And even so he can still use his damaging items.
  • Paper Wario: Out-Smashing seems like an Easy Mode at first, but unlike Mario and the other Leaders, Wario does not use a new mechanic for them; he instead have his "Anger Meter" that raise when he get damaged or getting insulted. When he's angry, his Power is raised by a whopping five and can ignore nearly all defensive perks, as well as using a Wonderful Move to deal even stronger hit! Be careful, as he cannot use items when he's angry, and he get healed half as much in this state.
  • The location order and boss order is very different from the main mode, but the story is half as long. Although, the bosses functions more differently, and Wario does not have access to all locations, but he do have access to several exclusive locations that the others could not be able to enter. Battles are also more important as there are Magic Blocks that only goes off once Wario had defeated enough enemies or defeated the boss.

What new world awaits for them? Find it out only in this two-in-one game of Paper Mario: In-Style!

Day 5: Donkey Kong Country: Cranky's Prime Paradox[]

A new Donkey Kong adventure will arrive starring... Cranky Kong!?

Cranky Kong, the old grumpy senile primate who was the original Donkey Kong, will now be the star ever since the classic Donkey Kong arcade games and Donkey Kong '94. Alongside with his son/grandson the modern Donkey Kong, as well as Diddy, Dixie, as well as the other Kongs that went missing since ages. Indeed, those missing Kongs were stuck in the virtual reality called "Paradox Isle", where a mixture of timeline-theme worlds resides, and now the rest of the Kongs are now stuck in, pushing Cranky to make the lead... much to his own dismay.

  • Although the main player 1 is now Cranky Kong for this game, the player have the option to switch between him, Donkey Kong and Funky Kong, but the latter is exclusive in Funky Mode. When the player 1 uses DK or Funky, the player 2 can be Cranky Kong.
  • There are five modes, one of them being unlockable. The player can switch between the modes at any time.
    • Newcomer: Three hearts for each Kong, falling into pits or other OHKO hazards will only deal one damage.
    • Modern: Plays more like Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze; two hearts for each Kongs.
    • Classic: Plays more like the SNES Donkey Kong Country trilogy, although the mechanics from the modern DKC games are kept for consistency; one heart for each Kongs, but no hearts are lost if riding an Animal Buddy.
    • Funky: Play as Funky Kong in the style similar to Modern, with his own five hearts, but he can only bring a Partner via purchased DK Barrels or via multiplayer.
    • Hard: One heart, one Kong (or two in Multiplayer), no items, no mercy. Funky Kong can be used in this mode, but he can only use one heart like the other Kongs.
  • Completing the World 8 allows the player to play as any Kong at any time in any mode in any save file, except in Funky Mode where it is the only way to play as Funky Kong (aside of Hard Mode).

Like in DKC Returns, there will be 8 Worlds (with one bonus World), each having a different theme based on the various timeline, such as Far Far West, Pirate of Cabanas and Old-School City. Not only that, but all of the Animal Buddies, not just Rambi and Squawks, also make a return, and can be bring into another level unlike previous DKC games, as the game put further focus on them than ever!

  • Thing is, not all Animal Buddies will be rideable; Quawks replaces Squawks as the item-searcher while the latter functions as a genuine Animal Buddy again, while Enguarde now acts as a CPU-controlled bodyguard in underwater levels.
  • Ellie the Elephant is not scared of mice and rats anymore, so do not worry about thinking that she will run away from them.
  • To avoid redundancy between Winky and Rattly the Rattlesnake, the former is now capable of using his tongue to push barrels and smack enemies, while the latter can perform a mid-air jump.
  • Three new Animal Buddies are also introduced in this game;
    • Hernie the Hornet allows unlimited flight similarly to Squawks, while also using his stinger to knock out enemies and paralyze invincible enemies.
    • Slide the Pengi allows a bellyslide attack that knock out enemies, heightened underwater mobility and speed, and able to walk on ice without being hindered.
    • Climber the Ant is able to pick up objects that not even Ellie or Chunky Kong can pick, and is able to throw them at any angles. He can also climb walls and ceilings and still capable to use his throwing ability.

Alas, no Kremlings in sight (or is it?) as the new baddies, the Paradexters, ancient animals who works for a wicked crow called Crazi Callbeak, take the frontal assault against the Kongs. Of course, the shocking truth will be revealed after the World 4. In the meanwhile, here's the four new Kongs that are coming back.

  • Lanky Kong may have no style and no grace, but he do have a funny face. He have great jump height and can stretch his arm to grab items, but he is slightly slow.
  • Tiny Kong can slow down her fall by spinning in the air, and this way she can be transported by winds.
  • Kiddy Kong can bounce off water by rolling and can be thrown in the air to deliver shockwaves to enemies.
  • Chunky Kong may be slow, but he is capable of instantly knocking out enemies with one stomp and can do so on armored fiends and enemies that are immune to even DK's attacks. He can also use his Pineapple Launcher to destroy burning and spiky enemies.
  • Diddy Kong had been buffed considerably; as solo, he can run the fastest, swim the quickest and climb the fastest, and regardless of Team-Up or not, his Jetpack now lasts even longer, allowing him (and his partner) to cross thorough gaps that not even Cranky or Dixie can get into.
  • Donkey Kong, does to previously lacking a specialty, can perform his unique Team-Up similarly to Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and able to carry the partner as well as combining their abilities together. He cannot carry Chunky, but Chunky can carry him instead.

"Bah, hype is a cheap way to get people's attention. But who knows, if you would like it, don't blame me if you would end up being disappointed!"
