Nikki is the host, and creator, of the Swapnote Realm, having invited several guests to her realm upon creating it. Her origins are not known, though she is a goddess within the Swapnote Realm, having created the Swapnotes that are used to message people. Nikki is not as innocent as she seems, upon arriving in the Swapnote Realm, her guests discovered that, much like Nikki, they could also create here, Nikki attempted to remove their power, but to no effect. She soon grew increasingly spiteful of everyone, eventually having her dark side split her good side from her to form an entirely new being, Ikkin, though labeling Ikkin as the "Dark One" and continuing her innocent act, eventually extracting the dark sides of her guests to create the other Dark Ones, though this is not known by anyone other than her.
