Playstyle

Zodiacs are essentially the magic-user class of EO3U, and spiritual successors of the Alchemist from previous Etrian Odyssey titles. Slow and vulnerable to high damage, but equipped with the ability to specifically target enemy weaknesses with elemental magic stemming from the stars themselves. Despite their defensive weaknesses, they are not to be underestimated thanks to the sheer potency of their astral techniques.

Zodiacs are one of two classes incapable of equipping any armor types other than plain old clothing, and their weapon selection is just as varied. This, combined with low vitality, makes it immediately obvious that they are only best on the back line, where enemies can't deal as much damage to them.

TP Up Passive
Raises the Zodiac's maximum TP. Ten levels maximum.
EXP Up Passive
Raises the Zodiac's EXP gain. Ten levels maximum.
Bandage Skill
Restores a little bit of HP to one ally. Can only be used from the main menu. Ten levels maximum.
Chop Field
Lets the Zodiac gather resources from Chop points in the Labyrinth. Ten levels maximum.
Mine Field
Lets the Zodiac gather resources from Mine points in the Labyrinth. Ten levels maximum.
Take Field
Lets the Zodiac gather resources from Take points in the Labyrinth. Ten levels maximum.

Calls down an astrological flame to burn one enemy. Ten levels maximum.

Calls down an astrological chill to freeze one enemy. Ten levels maximum.

Calls down an astrological bolt to shock one enemy. Ten levels maximum.
Singularity none Passive
Raises the damage dealt by attacks that successfully exploit an enemy's weakness. Ten levels maximum.
Ether Feedback Lv3 Singularity Passive
When the Zodiac successfully exploits an enemy's elemental weakness, they regain some TP. Five levels maximum.
Negative Space Lv6 Singularity

Skill
Lowers the TP cost of a single row's skills to zero for the duration of the turn. Five levels maximum.
