"The paper-thin version of Mario joins the battle!"
N64 Paper Mario
Paper Mario is the 2D version of the hero, Mario. His quests are almost always the same as the 3D version's--rescue Princess Peach and save the world. While he looks very similar to Mario, his attack style is very different as he uses his partners, his hammer, and even stickers.
Being entirely made of paper, Paper Mario is a very lightweight character. He has a decent speed and a well-performed jump. However, he is very easy to launch, and his guard can be broken rather easily.
