This is a list of the enemies and their attack patterns from New Super Mario Bros. ULTIMATE.

Name Picture Attack
Goombas Classic enemies that run at the player to hit them. They can be defeated with a simple stomp.
Goomba Tower
Goomba Tower
A lot of Goombas stacked on each other attack the player like a single Goomba and can be killed one by one with a jump or all at once with a ground-pound.
Paragoombas
Paragoomba in flight
These are the same as Goombas, but they have wings, allowing them to fly.
Grand Goombas
Goombas&GrandGoombaMF
Grand Goombas are large versions of Goombas, but attack and can be defeated in the same way.
Mega Goombas Mega Goombas are like Grand Goombas in their attack pattern but they're bigger, and golden to show that they're in charge.
Micro Goombas
Micro Goomba's
These are itty-bitty Goombas that try to run towards Mario and swarm him. They can be shaken off with a spin.
Bone Goomba

Undead Goombas act just like normal ones, but cannot be killed with fireballs.
Koopa Troopas These classic Mario enemies walk on a set path along the level. Mario can stomp on them to make them retreat into their shell, which can be picked up and thrown. They also have a larger variety.
Koopa Paratroopas These act the same as Koopa Troopas but have the ability to fly.
Dry Bones Undead Koopas act just like normal ones, but they can't die by fire.
Mecha-Koopas
Mecha Koopa
Wind-up Koopas that can be deactivated for five seconds and thrown.
Piranha Plants
Piranha Plant Lucoshi
They try to bite Mario with their jaws.
Venus Fire Traps

They are like Piranha Plants but shoot fire.
Super Piranha Plants
Baby Piranha Plant
They are like Piranha Plants but are larger.
