Elite Octoling
EliteOctoling
An Elite Octoling
Species Origin Octoling
Weapon(s) Octoshot
Vulnerable To Ink
First Appearance Splatoon (2015)

Elite Octolings are a more powerful variant of the regular Octoling. They behave similarly to their normal counterparts, but are notably quicker, more durable and deal more damage. They only appear in later levels of Octo Valley.

Appearance

Elite Octolings wear the same boots, armor and goggles as regular Octolings and also have the same hairstyle, but there are two notable differences. The first one is that, unlike any other Octarian, their tentacles aren't red, but as black as a cloud of sepia ink. The second difference is that they also wear two long, wavy strands of seaweed in their hair. These kelps indicate their high ranks.
