Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon, extremely famous for the loads of evolutions it has. While not a "true" mascot for the series, it IS one of the more commonly-seen Pokémon in fanfics; unfortunately, owning an Eevee is often the stereotype of a "Mary Sue" character.

In the Generation 8 games, Eevee can Gigantamax.

In Pokémon Yellow, Blue's starter is an Eevee. This further evolved in the game's 2018 Switch remakes to Eevee potentially being your Starter in Let's Go Eevee. This special Eevee can't evolve and has a unique appearance as well as different stats; because it's a female Eevee, the unique appearance would go on in Generation 8 to become the default appearance for all female Eevees, making it one of a few rare Pokémon who did not originally have a gender difference to get one. This may also explain why Gary had an Umbreon in the animé.

Eevee is also a Starter in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness (Espeon and Umbreon are Starters in its prequel).

Base stats of the LGP/E Partner Eevee[]

Total: 435
  • LGP/E calculates stats in a different way, replacing EV's with "Awakening Values" or "Go Power", which can go up to 200, and factoring Friendship into stat calculations.
  • To that effect, the minimum stats were calculated with 0 AV's and IV's, plus no Friendship and a hindering Nature, if applicable.
  • The maximum stats were calculated with 200 AV's, 31 IV's, max Friendship, and a helpful Nature, if applicable.

Alternate evolution methods[]

  • In XD: Gale of Darkness, you could use special items known as a Sun Shard and Moon Shard to evolve Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon.
  • Prior to Generation 8, Eevee had to be leveled up near a Moss Rock to evolve into Leafeon. Among the Moss Rock's locations:
    • Hoenn (Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire only): Petalburg Woods
    • Sinnoh: Eterna Forest
    • Unova: Pinwheel Forest
    • Kalos: Route 20
    • Alola: Lush Jungle
  • Similarly, Eevee had to be leveled up near an Ice Rock to evolve into Glaceon before the same generation. The Ice Rock's locations:
    • Hoenn (OR/AS only): The icy section of Shoal Cave, reachable only during low tide
    • Sinnoh: Route 217
    • Unova: Twist Mountain
    • Kalos: Frost Cavern
    • Alola: Mt. Lanakila
  • Prior to Generation 8, in order to evolve Eevee into Sylveon, it had to have two Affection points in Pokémon-Amie or Pokémon Refresh instead of high Friendship.

Fanon appearances[]

Pikachu's Final Destiny[]

A Female Eevee appears as a costume shop owner in the game. She can dressup in any costumes she wants to.

Pikachu's Final Destiny 2[]

Eevee appears as a playable character in Pikachu's Final Destiny 2. She has to take down Jigglypuff for stealing her costumes she made and help Birdo to get back her purple dress from Jigglypuff.

St. Clair Publications[]

  • Eevee appeared in Super Smash Stadium as a Poké-Ball Pokémon, functioning much like it did in its canon Smash appearances. However, because it debuted alongside Pong, it didn't last very long. The reveal trailers for the video game claim that it was a "cut" Pokémon.
  • All canon Pokémon appear in Tropes vs. Women in Pokémon Training, including Eevee. This game brings back its old evolution methods for Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon, with the Moss Rock appearing in Dan Meadows and the Ice Rock appearing in Snowside City. In addition, Eevee has the following new evolutions:
    • Bug-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Manteon, by leveling up while holding an Insect Plate or Silver Powder
    • Dragon-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Medieveon, by leveling up while holding a Draco Plate or Dragon Fang
    • Fighting-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Aureon, by leveling up while holding a Fist Plate or Black Belt
    • Flying-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Aereon, by leveling up while holding a Sky Plate or Sharp Beak
    • Ghost-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Phobeon, by leveling up while holding a Spooky Plate or Spell Tag
    • Ground-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Terreon, by leveling up while holding an Earth Plate or Soft Sand
    • Normal-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Balanceon, at Level 25
    • Poison-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Toxeon, by leveling up while holding a Toxic Plate or Poison Barb
    • Rock-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Stoneon, by leveling up while holding a Stone Plate or Hard Stone
    • Steel-Type-Pokemon-Sword-and-Shield Metalleon, by leveling up while holding an Iron Plate or Metal Coat (which now likely holds the record for the highest amount of evolutions triggered)
  • The Partner Eevee can be transferred to TvW Deluxe, where it will keep its higher base stats but have its actual stats calculated in the regular way, essentially nerfing it:

  • Solemon when leveled up during a Nightmare.

  • Draconeon Evolves from Eevee.

Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions[]

Eevee appears in Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions, an alternative universe take on the real-life games of the same name, alongside all of its real life evolutions (in the case of Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon, using slightly different evolution methods) and Baneon, a Poison type Eeveelution based partially on the beta Umbreon (which was originally going to be Poison type until they brought in the Dark type) and adaptations of the leftover sprites from Nidoran♂, which were redundant on account of gender-was-introduced-in-the-same-generation-as-Nidoran-and-therefore-it-only-occupies-one-Pokédex-slot.
