Story

A boy named Mason wakes up to hear a giant explosion, which woke up the rest of the town. Mason leaves to go investigate it, and finds a fiery monster. He beats it down, and goes home. He sees his sister has been kidnapped. He runs out the door, but the police say he is not allowed to leave town until the tourists clear out. He goes to an arcade, to find the whales, a group of ruffians planned to take over the town. He beats them all up, then heads outside, and finds a man named Frank. Mason fights him, and wins, then he sends a robot called Frankystein Mark III. Mason beats it, too, and Frank tells Mason about a cave behind town called "Giant Step". Mason heads to the City Hall, and is given a key to the shack, which allows him to get to the cave. Mason goes to the end of it, and meets "Titanic Ant". He fights it, and it loses. Mason goes into a cavern behind the ant, and sees a man on a yellow cloud (based off of this) who is holding a piece of paper. He flies away on the cloud after he notices Mason. Mason acts confused, then sees a shrine. It says "Only the one with the sacred dance may have PSI." Mason heads back into town, and finds a man who shows him a dance. Mason remembers the dance, and heads back to the end of the cave. He uses the dance, and a blob of smoke covers his body. Mason's true power is awakened, and he can now use PSI. He goes to the mayor, and sees the man on the cloud being taken away. Mason runs after them, and fights the man. Mason wins, and the man reveals his name is "Cirrus". He flies off, but drops the piece of paper he told about earlier. Mason picks it up and reads it. "Man, the island will be mine! If I can just take that mayor, that Mason kid will definitely come after me, but only if I take his sister first to get his attention! Why do I have to write this down, though?" Mason sees the mayor regain consiousness, and shows him the note. But, the wind blows it out of his hand and out the window before the mayor can even read it. Mason decides to leave the town, now, and go after his sister.

He heads to Secroond Village. He walks to the middle of town to find a giant tower, which has a big laser and cannons. He sees his brother, Mitchell run out as fast as he can. He sees Mason and says that he was trying to save their cat, Knux, who got kidnapped. Mason decides to help, and they walk inside the tower. Mitchell and Mason see a "Cloudman" in front of them, who attacks. Mason and Mitchell beat the Cloudman and continue up the tower to floor two. They see Cirrus, who is working in a lab. He turns around and sends a "Snow-Man" at them. They beat it, too. The Snow-Man drops a "Light Bazooka". Cirrus flies away on the cloud, and the lights suddenly turn off. Mitchell mentions that he is scared of the dark, so they'd better be careful. Mason and Mitchell find the stairs and head to floor three. Animals fused with clouds are everywhere, who are obviously attempting to fly. Suddenly, a glass container falls and traps Mason and Mitchell. They see Cirrus in front of them, and he says they're the next test subject. Mitchell uses the Light Bazooka to break the glass. Cirrus freaks out and runs. Mason and Mitchell continue up to floor four. The entire place is filled with water. Mason and Mitchell swim across, and continue to floor five. They hear an announcement go through speakers to their right. "Laser Tower will be closing in one hour. Please exit to your nearest exit". Mason and Mitchell continue forward and see their cat, Knux, stuck in a green, glass container. Mason and Mitchell walk up to it, but two people walk up and stop them before they can open it. One had a knife, a red jacket on, and a Mohawk. The other was wearing ninja clothes, and had a ninja star in his hand. They said their names were "Dax" and "Justin". They both attack Mason and Mitchell. They beat up Dax and Justin, but their cat's container suddenly goes up like an elevator. Mason and Mitchell continue up the tower, and get to floor six. The ground is missing at some places, so if they make one wrong step, they return to floor five. They continue to floor seven, and see its ground is similar to the previous floor's ground. Again, if they fall, they return to floor five. They continue to floor eight and hear "Forty-Five minutes until Laser Tower closes. Please leave or we will shoot you with one of our cannons". The ground on this floor has ice all over it, so they must slide all the way to the end correctly. They continue to floor nine, and see a publicated store area. You may restore health, save, and buy items here. They continue to floor ten, and see Cirrus, again, with their cat laying down on a machine, with a laser pointed at it, and a mechanical arm holding a cloud. Cirrus turns around and explains that he's turning Knux into a Cloudman. Mason and Mitchell fight Cirrus, and win. He flies away, and Mitchell shoots the machine getting ready to turn Knux into a Cloudman, and they take Knux off of it. Knux joins them, and the group continues to floor eleven. They hear "Thirty minutes until Laser Tower closes. We're not kidding, you'd better leave!" They go through a maze in this room, then continue to floor twelve. There are more Cloudmen on this floor, you just need to either battle them or go around them to continue to floor thirteen. On floor thirteen, there is a big screen and a control panel. Mitchell says that this must be the laser's control panel. The group walks up to it, and a laser with eyes comes out of the screen. The group destroys it, and they hear "Fifteen minutes until the tower closes. We particularly want the group of two young boys and a cat to leave. I repeat, two young boys and a cat". They head up to floor fourteen and see nothing, but a big window. Suddenly, the door closes behind them, so they are trapped. Mitchell uses the light bazooka to break the glass, and they step out the window. They walk up a set of stairs, and climb a ladder at the end. They get up to another platform, and see five cannons in a row. The group breaks all of them, and continue to floor fifteen. Cirrus is up here, and he welcomes them. He says he is soon going to destroy the city with Laser Tower's biggest laser. He says that the tower is closing in five minutes. An elevator comes up that will take them to the first floor. They take it to the bottom and leave the tower. They decide to continue to look for McKinley. But suddenly the laser at the top points at them, and shoots. The group now must fight the tower, and make the laser stop. They destroy the tower, and it starts blowing up. Cirrus flies out and glares at the group, then flies away. Mason decides to lead the group to the east side of town, and meets Dax and Justin beaten up from the explosion. They drop a backpack, and Mitchell picks it up. It has a note inside. Mitchell reads it.

Dearest Cirrus,
It's us, Dax and Justin! You know, your henchmen you hired three days
ago? Well, anyway, we have gotten rid of the gates to Thriddon City,
and sent in all of the ghost Cloudmen. Also, we have captured Mason's
parents, Karen and Eric. We will be turning them into Cloudmen soon.
The henchmen attempting that have been saying that they're struggl-
ing too hard. They said that they're going to call us in tomorrow to let
us hold them down. You know how fun that is, right!? We're so lucky!
See ya, bro!

The group becomes worried and Mitchell decides that they need to hurry to Thriddon City as fast as they can. Cirrus comes in, and falls off of his cloud. He pushes himself back up, and laughs. He tells the group that they have already lost. Mason collapses on the ground and jumps up to attack Cirrus. Cirrus jumps back onto the cloud, and throws two cubes on the ground. He flies away on the cloud and the cubes blow up. They merge into two deformed Cloudmen. The group defeats the Cloudmen and walk to the inn. They discuss how they're going to save them, and how terrible it would be if they were turned into Cloudmen. They go to sleep in the inn, and the screen moves south to Thriddon with some enemies on the road.........

Towns

There are several locations in this game. They all split up parts of the chapters, like a storybook. All of these locations are on Wintu Island.

Name Description
Star Town Star Town is the starting town of the game. The main character's family lives there. The name was originally gonna be "Starter Village" but it was renamed Star Town, as in Start. The town is recognized for its farms. Later in the game, the town is overrun by Elite Pigmasks and Cloudmen.
Secroond Village Secroond Village is the second town in the game. The name was originally gonna be "Secound City" but it was renamed Secroond Village. East of the town is Star Town and south is Thriddon City. The town is recognized for being the smallest town on the continent. Later in the game, Cirrus takes over the village and renames it "Giegue City". Laser Tower is located here.
Thriddon City Thriddon City is the third town in the game. Karen and Eric have jobs there. North of the town is Secroond and east is Fourton Metropolis. The town is recognized for being the largest town on the continent. Later in the game, there is an alien invasion of Alimasks and Cloudiens.
Fourton Metropolis Fourton Metropolis is the fourth town in the game. Cirrus lives there. The name was originally gonna be "The Evil-Guys Place" but it was renamed Fourton Metropolis. East of the town is the Fiffer Tribe and west is Thriddon City. The town is recognized for being the busiest town on the continent. In the game, Cirrus conquers this city to take power over the country.
Fiffer Tribe The Fiffer Tribe is an indian tribe east of Fourton Metropolis. It is the fifth town in the game. This is where the first battle against Giygas takes place as the heroes. It is completely unknown to anybody, except for the playable characters. You have to disguise as a Fiffian as the heroes. North of this town is Sixthent Kingdom and east is Fourton Metropolis. The indians are called "Fiffians." Saturn Valley is part of this town.
Sixthent Kingdom The Sixthent Kingdom is an ancient kingdom with archeologists and tourists everywhere. The only way to get around it is by going through either a huge pyramid, or climbing mountains around it. There are a few houses in the inside and on the mountains, but no one knows of them. The Awaii Islands are north of the kingdom, and the Fiffer Tribe is south. There are "ancient guardians" at the end, which are stronger versions of the seven sanctuary bosses from EarthBound.
Awaii Islands The Awaii Islands are the final location in the game. Cloud Volcano is located there. The name was originally gonna be "Good Island" but it was renamed Awaii Islands. South of the town is Sixthent Kingdom. The town is recognized for being the longest town on the continent. In the game, Cirrus sends darkness over the island. Cirrus sends all of the past bosses at you, and once they have all been defeated, Cirrus fights you, himself. Then, his plans get messed up, and the darkness wraps around Cirrus, and he becomes "Dark Cirrus".

New Game+

Once you beat the game, you get a New Game+. You start the game from the beginning again, but your characters are as strong as they were before you finished the game. When you try to use PSI Teleport, it only works on places you've been on that file. You play in your pajamas as Mason, like you do as Link in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
