Dream Land Tournament
2D Platformer/Fighting Game
Dream Land Tournament is a Kirby game developed by Pyro Enterprizes and HAL Laboratory. It has been stated to be a combination of Kirby: Triple Deluxe's Kirby Fighters minigame, the Super Smash Bros. series, and the Injustice: Gods Among Us in terms of gameplay.
The Hero of Pop Star himself! While Kirby may look cute and cuddly, he hides a secret power- the ability to absorb the powers of his opponents. However, will that power be enough to defend him from both the other fighters and the Yoni invasion?
Inhale: Kirby lacks combat skill on his own. However, he is capable of inhaling his opponents to gain their abilities and movesets. The ability will be removed if Kirby takes a powerful enough hit.

The (self-proclaimed) King of Dream Land. A bossy penguin with a massive hammer and an appetite to match, King Dedede is said to be working with the Yoni invaders- seemingly unaware of their ultimate goal...
Hammer: King Dedede uses his powerful hammer in combat. Said weapon is no ordinary hammer, as it can also fire a blade-like beam when charged. He also seemingly has a massive amount of them, as he can throw as many as he wants.

King Dedede's right-hand man/woman. Bandanna believes that it is his/her duty to serve Dedede, no matter what shady buisness he may be conducting with the invaders...
Spear: Bandanna Dee wields a powerful spear with good range and rapid comboing ability. However, much like the Fire Emblem Smasher Marth, the spear's tip is the focus point of its power, so spacing is important.

The mysterious leader of the Meta-Knight organization and captain of the warship known as the Halberd. He is a master swordsman, and is said to have no equal throughout all of Dream Land. His motives are as of yet unknown...
Galaxia: Not content merely using his sword in combat, Meta Knight also uses his Dimensional Cape a good amount. This cape can transform into wings for brutal aerial combat, allow him to teleport across the battlefield, or even summon a member of the Meta-Knights to assist him in combat.
Jumps: 6 Speed: High Defense: Normal Power: Above Average Super Ability:Galaxia Darkness
This intelligent alien once used Kirby in a bid to obtain ultimate power in the form of the Master Crown. While he eventually turned over a new leaf and became Kirby's friend, some of the crown's dark power seems to have rubbed off on him...
Technomage: Magolor uses a combination of alien technology and magic in his attacks, making him an effective ranged fighter. However, his most useful ability is his Gear Shield, which acts as an infinite guard/reflector move, complementing his high defense.

An member of a race of archers who dwell in the shadier regions of Dream Land. This specific Spynum appears to be a bounty hunter working alongside the Yoni, and has a dedicated goal of taking down Kirby and his allies.
Archer: Spynum is a glass cannon-type character with very low defense and relatively low power. However, his speed is amazing, and his arrow attacks have a wide range of uses. If fully charged, Spynum's arrows can be one of the most powerful non-Super Ability attacks in the game!
Jumps: 5 Speed: High Defense: Low Power: Below Average Super Ability:Quick Draw
A mage with a mastery of mirror magic (ALLITERATION) who has joined the tournament in order to perfect his magic abilities. While he may seem like a wimpier fighter at first, he has quite the moves up his sleeve...
Mirror: Simirror's moveset is more defensive than most, as he has the ability to reflect any projectile in the game back at its original owner. However, he can also use his mirror magic for more offensive purposes, such as firing shards of glass or duplication.

Plasma Wisps are small balls of energy that wander around Dream Land. After a battalion of Yoni capture the rest of his species for power sources, this Wisp joins Kirby in order to save them. While fragile-looking, Plasma Wisp contains massive amounts of pure energy to attack his opponents with.
Plasma: Plasma Wisp's moveset is focused around a core mechanic- his Plasma Aura. He can build up this Aura by moving around constantly (though the charge rate has been reduced from other Kirby games for balance purposes) and can use it as a shield or fire it out as a powerful blast of energy.

A paint fairy that normally resides in another dimension. It is unknown why Elline has entered this tournament- however, her magic abilities grant her the power to manipulate the battlefield at will, so do not take this fairy lightly!
Rainbow: Elline is capable of drawing in and erasing platforms at will with her paint magic, making her a truly unpredictable opponent. She can also paint various types of minions into existence, but these tend to be rather weak.
Jumps: 7 Speed: High Defense: Below Average Power: Below Average Super Ability:Star Cannon
Former servant of the ruthless monarch Queen Sectonia, Taranza now serves as a surrogate leader to the people of Floralia. However, when the Yoni attack the floating islands, Taranza heads off with Kirby to try to destroy them.
Dark Magic: Taranza is not a very formidable close-quarters opponent, with weak attacks and very low defense. However, his various magic abilities let him teleport, cast blasts of energy, and even siphon HP from his opponents.
