Double Trouble is the first Rhythm Heaven mod by InukaneStudios, and is a parody of Double Date. You play as a vampire ninja neko boy by the name of Kouhai, as you kick away various sports balls from your zombie pirate robot crush Senpai and the talking, flying, water-breathing, night-seeing Weasel Couple. There are many various cameos from other Nintendo franchises, including the girl from Love Lab complaining about not having a mod yet. The background music is the original Double Date song, however, this changes to Party Rock Anthem, Butterfly on your Right Shoulder, and Nyanyanyanya (the Nyan Cat song by Hatsune Miku).
Press A to kick, dummy!
There are four types of balls that come towards the group: soccer, basket, foot, and bowling balls. The soccer balls will only bounce once, making them easy to kick. The basket balls will skid and then bounce, making the kick slightly faster. The rarer footballs will bounce towards the boy, away from him, and come back towards him. On that third movement, you should make him kick. Finally, during the added songs (except for Nyanyanyanya), bowling balls will arrive. They won't bounce at all, forcing the boy to kick really fast. If he fails, the bowling ball will break the boy's leg, and due to the graphic wound, the game isn't rated out of fear of getting AO, Z, and 18 ratings. The more you fail, the more gory the boy's leg gets.
