Detective Pikachu is the third character in Battle Theater and a default character, playing the role of a glass cannon, as well as having a unique investigation mechanic. He was revealed on January, 30th.

Tim Goodman runs in and throws Detective Pikachu into the air. It's slow and can only be used on the ground, but does get him pretty high.
Detective Pikachu rams forward, using his head to bash the opponent. It's fast and powerful, but hard to control. It can be charged for more affect.
Detective Pikachu uses a magnifying glass to increase the opponent's hurtbox for a few seconds.
Detective Pikachu drinks a coffee. It will temporarily increase his speed and attack power.
Detective Pikachu shows off evidence that proves the opponent guilty. A giant Judge's Mallet then smacks them to knock them far away.
Detective Pikachu finds incriminating evidence that turns the crowd against the opponent.
Detective Pikachu chugs a shot of espresso, doubling his speed and power for a time.
Detective Pikachu is a glass cannon, being powerful and agile but lacking durability and weight. He has a unique mechanic in the form of investigation. By staying still, he'll investigate the opponent and after a period of time, the weaknesses of the opponent will be found.
