Corrin is a downloadable playable character in Ultra Smash Bros. IV and makes his second return in this series since Smash 4 also as a DLC. He was confirmed in the second wave of the DLC's alongside with Cloud and Bayonetta. Corrin is the main protagonist and a avatar in Fire Emblem: Fates.
Corrin's voice, also as a girl, is remastered and slightly different than Smash 4 but Cam Clarke and Marcella Lentz-Pope reprises again their roles.
Corrin ranks the 32nd place of the 103rd in the tier list, putting him/her in the top tier classment (A), before Shantae and after Mii Gunner, making him/her a top tier character. This is a slightly rise for Corrin since he/she's is a high tier character in Smash 4.
Corrin's best options is approaching thanks to his Dragon Fang Shot, that paralyzes opponents for a short time, and his long ranged sword and attacks. His tipper is basically like Marth's tipper. They have a longer reach. His back air helps Corrin to have a little horizontal momentum as recovery option and escaping the blast zone.
However, Corrin's Dragon Ascent still is a good recovery but very predictable. His hitbox at his attacks, far from his tipper, are slightly reduced differently of Marth's tipper. Overall in his matchups, Corrin makes a good representation at the tournaments.
