Rabbid Kong |
Collectors are Rabbid enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, exclusively appearing in the Donkey Kong Adventure story expansion. They are only present in special levels dedicated to them, where the goal is to defeat them and obtain all the Time Washing Machine parts they hold. They have no attack, but have infinite movement around the map, making them difficult to defeat without attacks that simply one-shot them.
History[]
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle[]
Collectors appear in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle in the Donkey Kong Adventure story expansion. In their introductory cutscene, Donkey Kong, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Cranky find a piece of a Time washing Machine. They try to get it before a Collector beats them to it and stuffs it in its bag. Once it notices, it blows a raspberry at them and flees through a wooden Warp Pipe.
The goal of any stage where Collectors are present is to get the Time Washing Machine parts they hold. Each one has one part, which it will drop on the map when defeated. Collectors have no attacks and serve no offensive threat towards the heroes, but to compensate, they have infinite movement around the map, allowing them to easily get out of the heroes' range. On top of that, they also move if hit with a weapon attack. If a Time Washing Machine part is on the map when a Collector moves, it will also move to steal that as well, and thus getting both parts will require defeating it. The battle is won once all the Time Washing Machine parts have been obtained.
Variants[]
Only one variant appears in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle:
- Tropical Collectors, who appear in Donkey Kong Adventure. They have black face paint and golden hieroglyphic-esque emblems around their head and ears. They have 130 HP.
