Cheep-Cheeps are fish creatures that appear as a common enemy in underwater scenarios in the Super Mario series. They are able to hurt Mario upon collision (just like most enemies can), and can be considered dangerous, although some of their subspecies are more aggressive and go straight towards Mario, rather than floating on, unaware of the player's presence. Some Cheep-Cheeps live near areas with bridges and tend to jump out of the water and onto the bridge, harming those crossing it.

Cheep Cheeps once again appear in Super Mario Moose Deluxe. They act the same as in the previous game.
Cheep Cheeps appear as NPCs. In the court Koopa Beach (Day) they hop across the court and if they hit a player they knock them down. However, they do not appear in Koopa Beach (Night) most likely because there sleeping.
