Bumpties are a recurring species within the Paper Mario series and the Yoshi's Island series that resemble very short penguins. Their round bodies bounce back anyone who runs into them, hence the name "Bumpty". Most Bumpties are blue but some can be found in different colors. They can be found in cold and icy climates, mostly around mountains.
