Bomberman (Originally called Bomberman:The Offical Game) is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Wii to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Bomberman game. It uses the title of the original to symbolise the rebirth of the series in a new age.
The game's name itself could be confused with the Bomberman series, the Bomberman character or the original Bomberman game. As such, the game has many alaises, it is known Bomberman: The Official Game, Bomberman 08, or Bomberman 2008.
Story

Bomberman hears of a mysterious figure that is robbing a bank. When he arrives, he incounters Black Bomberman, who challenges him to come to his castle, to save Pink Bomberman. Then, White goes to defeat Black Bomberman and save Pink!

The game is strang in that it is a side-scrolling platformer, rather than a puzzle game, like most Bomberman games are.
