It, infact looks like a bamboo forest, but the bamboos in the forest look more blue-ish and red-ish, and the waters inside the forest actually transform into Bamboozle Water, a cure for some diseases.
It make it's debut in this game, it was mentioned by a Toad in the 2nd chapter in a shop that there is a forest that is territory to some ghosts, people who set foot could get attacked by them and never come back out of it again. It now appears on the 5th chapter, when Hunso warns Mario that entering the forest is very dangerous, they decided to enter, after Mario, Luigi, Hunso, and Kirby find The Portal Shrine. Didn't know that it was guarded by The Three Hiders, they accidently awoken them (after Luigi sneezed) and now attacked them, after a battle, they were defeated, the portal would only open up if they found the 2 gems hidden somewhere in the forest, after successfully finding the 2 gems, they open up the portal to Kirby's dimension and enter the portal. But the ghosts followed them into the portal, Mario, Kirby, Hunso, and Luigi find Dreamland all dark and night, but the ghosts now attacked Dreamland during the night, and now they must bring them back into the Bamboozle Forest.
- When you start to look closely at the hieroglyphs on the stone under the portal, it shows a Greenie wearing a crown similar to Wart's and a king outfit, meaning it was going to appear in the game but didn't make it in the final, but it's models can be found in the game files, just simply named King_Greenie.
