Baito's Badge Adventure (Nintendo Badge World in Japan) is a platforming game released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017. It stars the bunny from the 3DS application "Nintendo Badge Arcade". In the game, you play as Baito while you search for badges and try to defeat monsters stealing the badges from the Nintendo Badge Arcade.
Story[]
It was a normal day in the Nintendo Badge Arcade, Miis were trying to earn badges, Baito told jokes and helpful information to first time visitors, and everyone showed Baito's boss their badge designs. But at closing time, Some monsters stole the badges from every crane machine! The next day, Baito saw no badges thinking that the Miis got them all, but his boss told him that the badges were stolen! Baito and his boss rushed to find the badges and defeat the monsters who stole all the Nintendo badges!
Gameplay[]
Baito's Badge Arcade is a fast paced platformer just like the Super Mario series and the Kirby series. In the game, you go through levels trying to collect all the badges hidden in each level while defeating enemies. Up to two players are allowed to play on levels at one time, The characters P2 or P1 can play as are Baito and his boss, simply known as Mr. Badge, although he is called "Boss" through the whole game. Just like the Donkey Kong Country series, if the player gets hurt by an enemy, Baito's boss will be the new character you play as, If he gets hurt as well, the game brings you back to the World Map and forces you to start the level over.
amiibo Compatibility[]
Baito's Badge Arcade lets you scan the Mario, Link, Toon Link, Peach, Wario, Toad, Olimar, Villager, and Kirby amiibo to get costumes based off of the amiibo you scaned into the game. Baito's Badge Arcade also comes bundled with a special Baito amiibo. When you scan in the amiibo each day, you will get a special badge you can put on your home menu.
