Awakened Warriors is an open world Hack N Slash game created by Illusion Works in partnership with Nintendo. It is a crossover between the Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors series, and has similar gameplay to Hyrule Warriors. As the title hints, the game is set to feature characters from the Fire Emblem: Awakening title, however it has also been speculated that characters from the latest title, Fire Emblem: Fates, will also be featured. It is set to be released on the Pacifico and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2016.

The gameplay of Awakened Warriors remains similar to Hyrule Warriors, but with characters from the Fire Emblem franchise.

Game Modes

Legacy Mode

Legacy Mode is the story mode of Awakened Warriors. In Legacy, you will travel through multiple levels as your avatar from the Fire Emblem: Awakening (which you can either send to your copy of Awakened Warriors through wireless communications or you can create an entirely new avatar), and you with Chrom and the others will defeat enemies and bosses in an open world.

So far, it is quite likely that all of the characters from Fire Emblem: Awakening will be featured in the game. It has also been speculated characters from Fire Emblem: Fates will also appear.

Thus far, the game has been moderately received.

  • Awakened Warriors is inspired by Hyrule Warriors, and acts as a crossover between the Fire Emblem franchise and the Dynasty Warriors franchise.
