The Meta Knight figure is a character figure available in the 3rd wave of amiibo figures. It was released on February 1, 2015, and is exclusive to Best Buy stores in the US and Canada, and was also exclusive to Future Shop in Canada.
A second Meta Knight amiibo will be released alongside three other amiibo as part of the Kirby line. Thse four amiibo have special compatibility with Kirby: Planet Robobot.
Description
Kirby’s mysterious rival, this masked swordsman appears in several Kirby games. His giant cape transforms into wings, giving him the power of flight. He also captains a giant battleship, the Halberd, in order to take control of Dream Land. Meta Knight has shown his face briefly before, but his relationship to Kirby is still a mystery.
