Guile Stage

Air Force Base is a new unlockable stage in the game Super Smash Bros. Universe. The stage hails from the Street Fighter franchise, and appeared in all versions of the Street Fighter II series. The stage is based off of its appearance in the game Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and is a 3D recreation of the the stage similar to Suzaku Castle, in that there are only two objects on the otherwise flat surface stage, the objects in question being the two crates that can be destroyed as in its native game. The stage must be unlocked before it can be used for regular battles.

Overview[]

Air Force Base remains true to its design as seen in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, except that the entire stage has been rendered in 3D, including the spectators. The two crates that could be destroyed in the Street Fighter II series of games remain on the stage as well. However, unlike the Street Fighter series where they could be simply destroyed, the crates can sometimes house items or explosives when items are turned on. In a similarity to Street Fighter X Tekken, several prominent Street Fighter characters can be seen in the background watching the fight. In some cases, they can be seen fighting each other as well. Regardless, the stage is flat and neutral.
