Evolves From Shelmet, via trade with Karrablast

Accelgor is a Bug Pokémon introduced in Generation 5. It's the evolved form of Shelmet, and the unique method by which it evolves also causes Karrablast to evolve into Escavalier. If either Pokémon holds an Everstone, neither will evolve.

Basic info[]

It's a hybrid of a ninja and a car racer, possibly with some elements of bagworms. Evolving from Shelmet seems to have unlocked an extraordinary power within Accelgor; much like Ninjask (another ninja-based Bug Pokémon), it has ultra-high Speed, but very low defenses. It apparently dehydrates easily; as a result, its body is heavily covered with membranes, giving the appearance of a mummy. Since Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, it's been able to learn Water Shuriken, a move previously exclusive to Greninja.
