The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld made by Nintendo. It's the successor to the Nintendo DS series^[1]. It is very similar to the Wii3D, because both systems can play in 3D. You do not need any 3D glasses to see the 3DS' 3D effects. It was released in March 2011, after a shaky 1 month earlier release in Japan. The 90% larger 3DS XL was released in Summer 2012 after being revealed on a Nintendo Direct broadcast on June 21st 2012.

Nintendo 3DSuEdit

The Nintendo 3DSu is the 3rd edition to the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DSu has many capabilities that previous versions of the Nintendo 3DS do not, such as being able to browse YouTube and it is slimmer than the 3DS XL. Its successor was the 3DSu Lite.
